Nacional FBC, or Nacional Foot Ball Club, is a Peruvian football team based in the city of Mollendo, in the Islay Province of the Arequipa Region. The club was founded on April 18, 1923, by students of the National College Augusto Leguía, which is now known as CN Deán Valdivia. The team is commonly known by its nickname “Rojiblancos” (the red-and-whites) and plays its home matches at the Estadio Municipal de Mollendo. Their primary kit features a white uniform with blue socks. Nacional FBC competes in the Copa Perú, a nationwide amateur tournament that serves as a pathway to professional leagues. Over the years, the club has been highly successful at the district, provincial, and departmental levels, winning several local titles, particularly in 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
In 2019, the team returned to prominence by winning local competitions and advancing to the Round of 16 in the national stage of Copa Perú. In 2021, they were eliminated in the regional stage, and in 2022, they reached the national Round of 32 before being knocked out. In 2023, they once again made it to the Round of 16. Their most successful campaign came in 2024, when they reached the semifinals of the national stage, drawing 3–3 with FC Cajamarca but losing on penalties. Despite the loss, Nacional FBC secured promotion to the new professional third division, Liga 3, which will begin in 2025. The club plays an important role in regional football and continues to gain recognition for its performance in national tournaments.
